Down on the allotment, the brassicas are looking very sad as my friend Andrew has been fighting a losing battle with the caterpillars.
It may be a wet and dull Bank Holiday Monday, but he’s doing alright with the potatoes and he has plans to plant some onion.
His sweetcorn is looking pretty impressive too! Well done Andrew!
